Grenache Shiraz Touriga
Wine
S.C. Pannell Grenache Shiraz Touriga is sourced from vineyards across the McLaren Vale landscape. It represents a movement away from single varietal wine towards blends that better reflect the diversity of the region.
Handpicked grapes are crushed and open fermented. Malolactic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by eight months of maturation in seasoned French oak vats.
This blend is typically 60% Grenache, 30% Shiraz and 10% Touriga Nacional. The Grenache brings lifted aromatics and sandy tannins, the Shiraz red fruit flavours and spice, and the Touriga notes of plum pudding.
Purple in colour, S.C. Pannell Grenache Shiraz Touriga is a light to medium bodied wine, fruit driven and juicy with racy acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
